Just as FYI for the group. The former Q  Fox River  Branch(Ottawa,Oswego 
and Fox River RR) is doing well(again) as a  shortline.
 
In the past few years the average once a day train roundtrip to Eola from  
Ottawa was less than 30 cars. This past weekend I sat at Fox(you'll need to  
check some older Q ETTs to find it) as a 102 car train of sand CHs headed 
east.  memories of 85/86 and 11811/11812 came to mind ! 
 
My info. is the recent discovery of natural gas in PA is driving the sand  
business for drilling useage. I have a family member who works the old Rock  
Island for CSXT from Joliet west and he advises the same thing is happening 
on  that line.
