[CBQ] Re:CB&Q 3000 Model

Gary,

I have no knowledge of the model, but locomotive No. 3000 was a  
hudson, not a pacific. The prototype was brand new in 1931, having  
been delivered the previous year. There is a 3 inch scale Q hudson  
that operates every fall at the Sandwich County Fair in Sandwich, IL.  
It is live steam and was built, I believe, in the 1970's. The builder  
was Augie Otto who has since passed away, but his family continues to  
maintain and operate the locomotive at the fair.
