My memories and my original slides indicate 3 'schemes' on Lines East & a few
locations in CO, SD and Neb: total Q MoW orange; total depot red and in a few
cases the classic red with green trim. Check proto photos for a particular
location. I've done clinics over the yrs sharing these slides; some MoW pics
also show up indirectly in photos in Al Holck and Mike Spoor's books. BN
painted ex-Q MoW bldgs white or white with green trim. A very few are still
out there for you to take a pen knife to the white paint!
If you are not particular, I'd hazard a guess based on ones I saw that total
red was the more common of the 3 'schemes'. I'd also say that when there were
2 or more structures in one area, all had the same scheme.
