For sale the Nov. & Dec. 1955 issues of TRAINS with its two part series THE
BURLINGTON STORY. Both magzines are in excellent condition: clean pages, clean
covers, NO torn or creased pages. Both feature articles were written by TRAINS
editor, David P. Morgan. The Nov. article, "Burlington: What Makes It Tick"
discusses CBQ freight and passenger service and includes a system map, freight
density map, and 13 photos. The Dec. issue "Inside Burlington" discusses the
finances of the railroad, and concentrates on the Chicago-Aurora Raceway with a
2 page map of the Chicago-Aurora mainline at 7:34 a.m. and the position of 15
suburban, intercity, and freight trains! Also discusses Burlington's
classification yard (Cicero), CTC, and so much more. Includes 11 photos, 3
maps, and steam-diesel loco roster. A total of 30 pages on the Burlington.
PRICE: $10.00 for both magazines with FREE POSTAGE within the USA. I accept a
