That is correct, between 63-65 I worked there as an extra operator. When I 
returned after my two years
in the Army the train had been discontinued. It wasn't unusual to have three 
passenger trains at the depot
at the same time. East bound 8, West bound 3 and K-Line 8. The first track in 
front of the depot was called
the Axle this track wasn't bounded so you had to be careful when K-line 8 was 
on it.

I worked for the Q but had to be conversant with the Rock Island book of rules. 
Each roads power ran the full
route both way unless there were problems.
