Got my copy & it's another 'winner' with a wide range of CB&Q subjects in sharp
photos. These include 8 color, 4 b/w & 1 'duo-tone' pics (13 months). Two
months are repeated as well on the covers.
Again there are some real surprises: Bucyrus steam shovel #204430, a 44 tonner
on a turntable & an 1899 Pres. McKinley special. States included are IL, IA,
CO, NE & WI with 3 of the color pics including steam (a beautifully repainted
O-5 in "56!). Overall there are 7 diesel, 5 steam & one waycar end of a
freight with a good mix of frt, pass & commuter trains. C&S is included (new
#890 leading 3 Blackbirds). Most impressive is the composition & sharpness of
most pics which allows modelers to 'see' a lot of details including signals,
trackside buildings, roadbed, stations, etc. There is a reason why these
calendars have many loyal repeat customers.
Gerald
