I got in at the end of the gray backs and they were pretty grungy by then(68-69)
I used Hot Rod Primer Gray(which was more white then gray) and after decaling I
used India Ink/Alcohol for a set of grungy graybacks been run hard and put
away wet near the end

John,

Wow, a mini workshop by e-mail. Fantastic! Hope this helps Paul and
many, many others as well. You have answered all my questions and the
remaining few that I might have in the next few days I'll direct to your
sbcglobal.net e-mail box. At this time of year Tucson has a humidity level
under
10%. So I can imagine that this extremely "dry air" will effect how the
paint should be mixed to keep a wet edge during application. I guess I'll
have
to do some testing to see what works best out here. I've kept your
response for a reread or two as I think this project through with some more in
depth knowledge at my disposal. I can tell I'll be ordering a few things.

Thanks again for answering my questions and sharing your expertise. Happy
Thanksgiving.

Later, Dave S. Tucson, AZ
