Steve,
I noticed you haven't received any responses to your question. I was hoping
there might be one as I'll eventually be modelling the roundhouse in Keokuk.
While there's been lots of discussion over the years about exterior colours for
structures, I haven't seen much about interiors. Educated guess would say
something light to maximize the effectiveness of lighting. Of course,
soot/exhaust would make a mess fairly quickly.
Hoping for more reliable opinions.
Duncan Cameron

Subject: [CBQ] Switcher Shed Color
Was working on a mineral red one-stall, steam era wooden switcher shed
(which may or may not be prototypical to the Q) and was wondering, generally
speaking, with what interior color were the wooden roundhouses and switcher
sheds painted?
Many thanks,
Steve Doyle
