Dustin,
I always used brake fluid to strip mine. It never harmed Bachman's plastic.
Use gloves and safety glasses. Keep it away from skin and eyes.

I beginning my project on my NE-12.I have to strip these first .Anyone got
and advice on the best way to strip these ? I received my water cloests today
from Q connection.Anyone out there know when these were in use time period wise
along with possilbe paint schemes.I also received a set of the overnight
heaters for Q GP7 & GP9.Any idea what units received these heaters ? At last
anyone have any info on the Buda-Elmwood branchline in the late 50's to early
70's.Anyone on here possibly work that line or railfan it.Looking for some info
for a fellow modeler.Thanks for your time.
