Hi to all,
We are writing this with reluctance as we hate begging for financial
assistance, hwoever due to a funding decision that went against us we have to
try to find the $4000 required to re clad the outside of our 120 year old lady
(C&S 57) ourselves. This is urgent in that it takes at least two months from
ordering to recieving the machined wood for the windowsills and T&G cladding,
which takes us very close to winter again and bad weather.
If any of you can find anything to help us achieve this target we will be
immensly grateful and your name will appear in the car as a contributor. The
city of Cheyenne's intention is to move the car right into a prominent position
next to the depot museum during the restoration process so that visitors can
see the progress and then to display the car on 15th street once completed.
However as nice as this idea is, it wont happen in time to protect the cars
structure this winter.
If you can assist at all please feel free to contact me at
michael.pannell@btinternet.com
Many thanks for your time and support already.
Mike Pannell
