Strange - I just logged in to set up these new secret questions and it
didn't ask me for any.

        When I logged into Yahoo Groups tonight, I was presented a
screen to set up
        two secret questions for retrieving my Yahoo password in case I
forget it.
        On that screen, it also asked for my cell phone number so that
they could
        send my password as a text message to the cell phone . I want
you all to
        know that I DID NOT give them my cell number, and you do not
need to either.
        You can set these secret questions up without entering your cell
number.
