I may be wrong, but somewhere I remember hearing it received the BN herald for 
an appearance in a movie.

And an additional note that I find interesting, it carried the BN  logo 

well in advance of the merger in '70 (the U23s and SD45s didn't.) I 

don't remember the dates, but it was something like 6 - 8 months. The 

photos show this, tho' I can't say if they're pre- or post merger. The 

logo is present, but only "BURLINGTON"  is displayed on the locomotive, 

not "BURLINGTON NORTHERN"
