Hi Peter,

Here is a bit of info on waycar #13876 from my copy of "Waycars of the
Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy RR" by Holbrook & Lorenz;

#13876  Class NE8 with steel underframe
Builder: Aurora shops 12/1917
Length: 30'-0"
BN number: 11163
Remarks: Sold to Carl Weissman, 10/1974

I looked at all the photos in the book but did not a photo of your
specific waycar.

I hope this helps gets you started in your research. I hope that
