[CBQ] flood update 6-28-08

afternoon all
 
rj corman now has three portable offices set up on main street here in 
burlington iowa.there are still haulling rock in the geogretwon trains arcroos 
the river had we have two herzog i belive the are called slot trains working 
here along with numeruos dump trucks.on wednesday or thursday the first panel 
rail train arrived and the panels have continued to arrive via semi 
trucks.there are about 30 side dump cars in the yard with huge pieces of rip 
rap in them.hwy 34 and the great river bridge remain closed east of 
burlington.the illinios dot annouced in the hawk eye paper mid week that come 
hell or high water 34 would reopen by july fourth.
