[CBQ] XM-4 Boxcar Question

Gents,
   Looking for some info on CB&Q 48123. I have a photo of it and it
appears identical to a class XM-4 car. According to Mike Spoors Color
Guide, class XM-4 was numbered 47500-47799, while XM-4B was numbered
49000-49399. Was there a class XM-4A or was this just a continuation
of the original XM-4 class? Also would anyone know of the build date
of this class?
