Gee,
On May 18 I posted a message concerning the whistles (horns) applied
to Q engines.
I failed to note the use of single note, "blat" devices on F units as
well as early GP and SD locomotives, including GP20's. These were the
products of WABCO, Nathan or Leslie. No particular "favorite" seemed
evident.
>From 1962 until the end of the Q, any and all variations of whistles
adorned the engines. Some were pleasant sounding - - others were not.
