To be totally correct, the 6315 was added to the fan trip at La Verne
on that September 6, 1959 morning. That is where several of us
boarded the train. I think that was the only time that La Verne was a
scheduled stop on a fan trip. I have photos of the 6315 moving light
WB from Clyde Shop going under the IC bridge to await the arrival of
the 5632 and the fan trip train.

As for a locomotive at Eola Roundhouse in the late '50s, the only
ones that I could think of would have been #637, #35 (4-4-0) or
narrow gauge C&S 2-6-0 No.9 which was stored outside on a flat car.
since the 1950 Railroad Fair. None of these would have been
considered "large". It could have been #4960 as I seem to recall some
photos of it at the Eola coal tower, maybe for one of the way freight
fan trips. Was it added there at one time? I don't think that the
Eola turntable was big enough for one of the larger locomotives like
an O-5.
