[CBQ] Thoughts on FRED

This little vignette was told to me a few years ago by W.C. Bush, retired  
Asst. Superintendent and Transportation Officer.
 
Bush was Asst. Supt. here in Lincoln right after FRED came along...(That's  a 
Flashing Rear End Device) for you non rails.
 
One night he was out in the yard walking around and came across an "old  
head" car inspector named Sam.
 
Bush said to Sam..." Sam what do you think of these new FRED'S???
 
Sam's reply..."Well, Mr. Bush, I think they're gonna be alright..."They  
don't give you sh....and they don't always want a bag of ice"
