[CBQ] modelling question

Group,
I'm finishing off my model of the TP&W office in Keokuk by putting gravel on 
the flat roof portions.  I'd planned on applying it the same way as one would 
glue down ballast -- a bit of water with dish soap to "wet" the gravel and then 
diluted white glue to hold it.  Does anyone have a dilution ratio for the glue 
to suggest before I start this?
