[CBQ] XAP v XML

At some time between 1965 and 1968, the XAP class numbers of CB&Q box cars with 
were changed to XML ones.

Does anyone know why the change was made or more exactly when? Was it connected 
to the AAR Designation change from XAP to XP in 1966-67?
