All,

Needed for a project in progress. Any C&S,CB&Q,FW&D,GN,NP,SLSF,or
SP&S telegraph office calls. I know there is an interest in the
mechanical designations for locations. Am trying to make up a
"all in one" table which will be posted on my web site.

Also, CB&Q changed from a two character alpha destination system to
a four character alpha/numeric system in early 1967. Does anyone have
a list of the 1967 system or know exactly when it was changed.

The CB&Q also switched to a numeric system for switching roads as in:
1 = BRC
2 = IHB
3 = B&OCT ??
4 = DRI&NW ??
5 = ALS ??
6 = TRRA ??

Can anyone clarify this? I know 1 and 2 are correct.

Thanking you in advance,

Russ
