I've just started modelling portions of the Q in the early 1950's,
and I was wondering if anyone can suggest where to find info about
freight consists for places around Dubuque, IA. I bought a few
Burlington Bulletins I found at a hobby shop, but they covered motors
(very well), but not the freight. I saw several books about the
CB&Q, but they were all shrink wrapped so I couldn't evaluate the
content.

I was thinking about tracking down Burl Bulletin #23, which is
devoted to Burlington, IA, as a guide for the general area. If
anyone can recommend a book (or something) that goes into what types
of freight, mix of cars, other lines, etc for this era, please let me
know.
