Does anyone remember the date in the early 1960s when the L&N's 4-4-0
"General" with its wood "Jim Crow" combine ran under steam from CUS to Congress
Park
where it interchanged to the IHB enroute to EMD for display? I would like to
hear from anyone that witnessed the event, took photographs, has memorabilia or
even rode one of the two CB&Q chase trains, one of which included a gondola
