Im May of 1953, P-S put a special paint scheme & logo on the 50,000th
car they blt (a 40' box). Anyone have a photo or slide of this car
ever running on the Q? It's been available in both N & HO. Gerald
(I have a slide of the NP "Savings Bond" 50' box on the Q in So.
Sioux City as I recall but being from a fellow Hill Road that was not
so unique an event. Another unique car from the 50's would be the
special Timken Roller Bearing boxcar - replicated by Athearn among
others)
