Click on 1947, then scroll down to "Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad". 
It will take you to the ICC report on the wreck.
Basically, the eastbound Zephyr struck a tractor on a flat car ... the 
tractor had shifted, and the lead motor (9914A) hit the tractor at 70 mph, 
derailing the train.
If I recall correctly, there is a photo of the aftermath of the wreck in the 
Burlington Route Historical Society "Burlington Bulletin" #22, entitled 
"Trains of the Gods & Goddesses". It is available from the Burlington Route 
Historical Society Company Store at the link below:
