West Eola Tower

Guys,keep in mind that Eola yard wasnt built until 1918 or so when the Aurora 
frt yard was moved as part of the massive elevation project.
I dont know if the yard leads were once shorter but suspect not as noone 
working there or grandpa (who had a 1917 seniority date) ever mentioned it. 
The tower might have been further east before the yard was built.Then again 
why would you need a tower there before the yard was built?
