A 16,000 gallon insulated exterior coiled tank would actually be a caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) car. Corn syrup cars were insulated exterior coiled 10 mg until the late 60 s when ixc 17.5 came on the scene. Hubinger was a major corn syrup shipper.Possibly an early GATX or ACF built ixc 16 was a corn syrup car. Leo P.S. Today the ixc 17s are gving way to ixc 19s for corn syrup. |
