Per my 1940's Q loco diagram book (figure it would be more accurate than the late 50's version!) the Alco's were 45'-5&3'4" over coupler faces with a 41'-6" frame length - the Baldwins were 48'-10" over coupler faces but frame length not shown. At 14'-6" Alcos were 1/2' taller & at exactly 10' were 2" narrower. Gerald Edgar . . . and the VO1000 was also 48'-10" over pulling faces, so there ya go!
