Tom,

Here's a quick snapshot for June 1941, as listed by the Official Rwy Guide. 
The "General Pershing Zephyr" Trains #32 and #33, "The Mark Twain Zephyr" 
#29 and #30, and the "Silver Streak Zephyr" #20 and #21, all serving Kansas 
City, and ofcourse pre-dating the "Kansas City Zephyr" and "American Royal 
Zephyr".
