Subject: OKC Train Show [Yahoo! Clubs: Sooner State Rails]

The Oklahoma City Train Show will be held the weekend of December 1 and 2
at the State Fairgrounds (NW 10th and May Ave) in the Transportation
Building. The show will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on
Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission buttons are $5.00 and the button
admits you for both days. The show will have over 120 vendors/exhibitors
from 20 states. Several manufacturers have also signed up to be there.
The Southern Plains N Scale Convention will be held inside the show.
There will be lots to see and do. The contest area is open to any and all
who wish to enter. This year first place trophies will be given for Steam
Locos, Diesels, Freight Cars, Passenger Cars, Structures, and Dioramas. A
photo contest will also be there. All entries must be in by 2 p.m.
Saturday. Awards will be given at 3 p.m. on Sunday. This IS the
Southwest's LARGEST Train show. It's well worth the time to come out and
see.
