The Seventh Annual Southern Plains N Scale Convention
The Oklahoma City Train Show has gained a national reputation as one of
the
top ten shows in the country. Here is our agenda:
Thursday
This year, we will be touring BNSF's Cherokee Yard in Tulsa. The former
Frisco hump yard is where St. Louis and Memphis traffic are sorted for
West
Coast and Texas destinations.. The tour will be taking place in the
afternoon, and is limited to the first 24 people - registration required.
Friday
A.M. Setup for the OKC Train show. There will be a tour of the new
railroad
museum.
P.M. Setup of Ntrak layouts and convention area.
7 pm Pizza party.
Saturday
7:00 am Show area open for conventioneers.
8:00 am Submit items to White Elephant table. Contest table opens for
entries.
9:00 am OKC Train Show opens to the public. On-going clinics during the
day.
6 pm The Banquet!
Sunday
9:00 am Pancake breakfast
11:00 am Show open to the public. On-going clinics during the day.
5:00 pm Show closes. Layout teardown.
