I am faced with following questions re. detailing my un# VO-1000 into # 9354
(see Al Holcks' Color Pict. Vol 1, pg 58):
1. there is some pipe-like item protruding above the headlight fairing. Anyone
knows what this is and how to duplicate it?
2. at each corner of the bulge behind the headlight is another
(sandfiller?)pipe, but they seem of unequal height. Is this correct?
(important when I have to make these details myself) Are there commercial
details available?
3. like # 9353 number 9354 sports a radio- or cab signals box but apparently no
generator (in contrary to # 9372 & 9374, see pge
59). How come? What is the best detail part for the box: DetAss #2306 or
CustFin. #149?
4. what type of rerail frogs should I take: AW Enterpr. # 157-21 or Det.Ass.
