Chinese Red never dies. When the Burlington passenger business started going downhill, I felt sad. But the emergence of Chinese Red GP20's gave the Q a new and interesting life. The later diesel models also came out in this style. The Q was now a colorful mean and efficient freight machine. When the Q was merged into BN, the Q colors began to disappear.
