If a BRHSer would like to do something to represent us, let me know and I'll
send a care package with Zephyrs, back-issue order forms, annual reports and
membership applications.

Union Station

I just received a flyer from my model railroad club stating that there is
going to be a 5-weekend exihibition at Kansas City's Union Station
celebrating National Model Railroad Month. The event will be held on the
weekends of October 28-29, November 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, and 24,25,26.
Admission is free.

I know that most of the modeling clubs in Kansas City that have an interest
in a future permanent model railroad exhibition at Union Station (somewhat
like the San Diego model railroad club's museum/layouts) are going to have
exhibits/layouts sometime during the month. I was wondering if anyone here
in Kansas City would be interested in having a RITS presence if it is
possible. I don't know much more about it than that. At another club's
meeting that I attended they were talking about a minimal setup fee of
arround $30 dollars or so that they would have to foot, but they were not
totally sure what the cost would be, just that it would be minimal.

Just thought I'd let the list know in case someone in Kansas City might be
interested in having a RITS presence there.
