Marshall and Others:
The agreements may have had restrictions, but I have heard from a now
retired engineer that he recalls several trips with PRR Alcos of the
four axle Century type. Yours truly took a slide of a westbound at Galva
with a PRR C425 and GP35 trailing a SD24 in Dec 1967.
FWIW, the EL guy referred to all possible EL run thru locomotive types.
He did not reference his answer to the Q or BN. So, that means EL SD45-2
could not run in the Q pool. Too new. The were built in 1973 or so. If
you want to do that , at least renumber your SD24.
